20 percent teachers aspirants cleared Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test

According to The Hindu report, about 20.8% of the total 3.26 Lakh Candidates have cleared the Karnataka CTET Exam, KarTET is the eligibility test to teach in Karnataka State Schools.The exam was help on 27th September 2015 and the results were announced on 1st Feb 2016. This is a 14.14 per cent improvement compared to the previous KarTET where 6.66 per cent of the 3.86 lakh candidates had cleared the test. Many school managements, particularly from private institutes, had raised a concern that there would be a shortage of eligible teachers to teach in primary classes.
