IBPS Warns Candidates against Trusting Rumours about Release of IBPS PO Notification 2017

A lot of websites and blogs have published false information about IBPS PO Notification 2017. IBPS has asked aspirants not to trust any notifications till one is published on the IBPS website.

IBPS PO is an exam conducted by IBPS for candidates who aspire to work in public sector banks. It is held once a year and is taken by lakhs of prospective bankers across the country. However, for the last few weeks, there have been false alarms about the release of IBPS PO Notification 2017. IBPS finally took notice of these rumours and issued an official notice on 13th July about IBPS PO Notification 2017 putting all false news to rest and asking candidates not to believe any of them.

The notification reads as follows-

“All applicants and constituents are thereby informed that some websites/ blogs are unauthorisedly publishing distorted information about the forthcoming Common Recruitment Processes to be undertaken by the IBPS. These unauthorized advertisements/ notifications/ information are misguiding and creating confusion amongst the candidates and constituents of IBPS.

Under the circumstances, we request our applicants and constituents to refer the advertisements/ notifications published on IBPS official website only for any reference and information.”
