Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 623 Assistant vacancies in various offices of the Bank on a temporary basis. Eligible candidates may apply online from 18-10-2017 to 10-11-2017.
This is yet another opportunity to work with India’s Central Bank for those who have not been able to clear IBPS RRB Prelims for the post of Officer Scale-I (PO), Office Assistant (Clerk) and other Bank Recruitment Exams.

RBI Recruitment 2017 – Eligibility Criteria
To apply online for the RBI Assistant Recruitment process, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria at two levels. The below-mentioned eligibility criteria should be fulfilled as on 01/10/2017.
Candidate’s age should be between 24-28 years of age as on 01-10-2017. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC candidates.
Candidates should have Bachelor Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
RBI Recruitment 2017 – Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The recruitment process of RBI Assistant 2017 will take place in the following stages:
(a) RBI Recruitment Preliminary Exam
(b) RBI Recruitment Main Exam
(c) Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
The candidates provisionally selected from the Main exam will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official/Local Language of the State concerned. Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.
RBI Recruitment 2017 – How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.rbi.org.in from 18-10-2017 to 10-11-2017 and send their printout of online registration to RBI on or before 25-11-2017.
RBI Recruitment 2017 – Online Application Fee
Candidates need to pay a certain requisite fee in order to apply online for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2017.
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 450 (for General and OBC Candidate) or Rs. 50 (for Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD) as their Application Fee for RBI Assistant 2017 Exam. He/She can pay the application fee online using net banking or by any credit/debit card.
Please note that no application fee is required to be paid by the RBI staff.
