Staff Selection Commission has announced the CGL Recruitment Notification 2018 on 5th May 2018. As per the notification, online registrations will start from 5th May 2018 and will remain open until 4th June 2018.

SSC CGL Notification 2018: Eligibility Criteria
Essential Educational Qualifications as on 1st August, 2018:
Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer:
(a) Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute
(b) Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
Note-I: During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
Junior Statistical Officer:
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level:
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
All other Posts:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before 01.08.2018.
SSC CGL Notification 2018: Age Limit
An SSC CGL applicant should be between 18 – 27 years as on 1.08.2018 i.e. a candidate should not be born before 2-08-1991 and not later than 1-08-2000.
However, there is a provision for the upper age relaxation for the reserved category.

SSC-CGL 2018 examination will be conducted in four Tiers as indicated below:
The Commission reserves the right to make changes in the scheme of examination.
Marks scored by candidates in Tier-I and Tier-II examinations, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized and such normalized scores will be treated as final and will be used for qualifying the candidates to next stage of examination and to determine final merit.
How to Apply:
The application must be submitted through online mode only. For detailed instructions for filling up the application form, Annexure-II may be referred to.
SSC-CGL Notification 2018: Exam Fees and Mode of Payment
Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
You can pay the fees through online mode from 05-05-2018 to 04-06-2018. Those who want to pay fees through offline mode can make payment through challan of SBI bank until 7th June,2018 provided the challan has been generated before the closing date.
Given that the SSC-CGL Notification is released now, you should go through the same in detail, complete your application at the earliest and start your preparation right away. Remember, the early you start, the better are your chances.
