Most of the CBSE schools are looking for CTET qualified teachers desperately because this is the mandate from the Government that teachers appointed after March 2012 in any CBSE school have to be CTET qualified. There are over 17000 CBSE affiliated schools in the country and mostly all the schools have high attrition every year (25-30% teachers leave the workforce or shift to a new location or teach in a different school).

There are not more than 5000 vacancies in 1300 KVs, 961 NV and over 63 Tibetan Schools every year. CTET is written by 10 lac people while online 10% (1 lac) people qualify. The competition for Govt.
