TalentSprint Launches Center of Excellence at Ayyan Thiruvalluvar College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore

~ Aims to make Student Industry-Ready  ~

TalentSprint, a pioneer in creating high performance professionals for the IT and BFSI industry with centers in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore, today launched the “Center of Excellence” at Ayyan Thiruvalluvar College of Arts and Science, in Puliyampatti, Avinashi, Coimbatore. TalentSprint signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ayyan Thiruvalluvar College of Arts and Science at Coimbatore in the presence of Dr. Dinesh Ramasamy, Secretary & Trustee, Ayyan Thiruvalluvar College of Arts and Science. & Dr. B Geethabai, Principal, Ayyan Thiruvalluvar College of Arts and Science.
TalentSprint, an NSDC Partner Company with equity funding from Nexus Venture Partners, will provide a full suite of employability related courses on Software Testing, along with soft skills and aptitude training to students at the Ayyan Thiruvalluvar College of Arts and Science. The classes will be delivered in a blended learning mode, leveraging iPEARL, its Virtual Classroom technology. Industry experienced faculty will be training the students on various courses fitting the real world industry requirements and positions every individual to be job ready.

Commenting about this initiative, Santanu Paul, MD and CEO, TalentSprint said, “The concept of Center of Excellence has been introduced to create a supply of certified industry professionals matching the needs of the Industry. We have established our Center of Excellence in many colleges across the state of Andhra Pradesh and a number of students have gained from the industry centric training. To transform and improve the employability standards of the students, we are now setting up Centers of Excellence at colleges in Tamil Nadu”.

 Dr. Dinesh Ramasamy, Secretary, Ayyan Thiruvalluvar College of Arts and Science, said, “We are delighted to partner with TalentSprint in setting up Center of Excellence in our College. The Center of Excellence would not only provide the necessary skill sets for the students but would also help in building the much needed ready-to-deploy talent. Through this association we aim to have 500 students readily employable in the next few years”.
TalentSprint has undertaken to train over 500,000 freshers for jobs in IT and Banking by 2020 as a partner of National Skill Development Corporation. In order to facilitate the process of bringing out ‘Industry-ready professionals from the academic institutions’, TalentSprint has introduced the Concept of ‘Center of Excellence’ which are set up in colleges to enhance employability of students.
