Signs an Expression of Interest with the Government of Karnataka to skill 150,000 professionals by creating a Global Talent Academy

TalentSprint, a pioneer in creating high performance professionals for the IT and BFSI industry, has launched its Bangalore Skill Development and Employability Centre which will be based out of IIIT campus. B.V. Naidu, formerly Director of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), will lead the company’s growth as Chairman of TalentSprint, Karnataka. The company has also signed an Expression of Interest with the Government of Karnataka to build a Global Talent Academy in the state.

An NSDC Partner Company with recent equity funding from Nexus Venture Partners, TalentSprint is a leader in employability and skilling with deep competence in IT and BFSI. The company has assembled a world class management team, created state-of-the art training facilities, developed industry relevant training content and a robust learning platform for remote delivery. As a result TalentSprint has been able to skill more than 3,000 trainees with more than 80% of the trainees finding ready employment across 100 companies.

Naidu, Chairman TalentSprint Karnataka, announcing the signing of an Expression of Interest with Karnataka State Government said, “I am delighted to be a part of the TalentSprint leadership team. Developing quality talent to sustain growth of the state’s industry is absolutely essential. We propose to set up a Global Talent Academy (GTA) in close partnership with the state of Karnataka to train entry level professionals. GTA will conceive, design and deliver multiple programs to cater to requirement of skilled workforce for the IT/ITeS and Banking industry in Karnataka.”

Shri Vidyashankar, Principal Secretary, Commerce and Industries and IT, BT & S&T said that, "We welcome TalentSprint to Karnataka. The government will extend all the necessary support to make Global Talent Academy a great success. Such an initiative is the need of the hour to achieve Karnataka ICT targets of 20 Lac employment."
